Ingredients

  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 12 oz flour (1 lb flour measures out to 2-3 cups, depending on humidity...best to weigh out flour)

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in water and stand 10 minutes. Add salt and all but 1/2 cup flour and knead to mix. Add oil and knead for about 5 minutes or until elastic. Lightly flour the dough and put into a floured bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and put in warm place. Rise until doubled, about 20 minutes. Roll onto an oiled pizza pan.
