  • 4 red potatoes, peeled & diced
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 12oz can whole kernel corn, undrained
  • 2 cups ham, diced
  • American cheese slices, torn into small pieces

Preparation

Step 1

In a dutch oven, melt butter. Add onions and cook until tender. Add potatoes, 2 cups of water, salt, pepper, and papika. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender. Combine flour and 1/3 cup water to make a paste. Add to potatoes and cook until slightly thickened. Stir in corn and ham. Heat through. Serve topped with cheese slice bits.
