  • 1/2 pkg chili mix
  • 4-6 chix breast
  • 1 t oil
  • veggie spray
  • 1 onion- chopped
  • 3/4 thinly sliced yellow bell pepper
  • 3/4 thinly sliced red bell pepper
  • 2 c chicken broth
  • 2 c water
  • salt/ pepper 1/2 bottle salsa
  • strips and shredded cheese



Step 1

sprinkle chili mix in a shallow bowl and dredge chix in it. Heat veg oil with cooking spray in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Add the chicken and saute 6 minutes on each side until chix is done. Remove chix. let cool cut diagonally. Add onion and peppers to skillet and saute for 3 min

Add chick slices, broth, water salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Simmer about30minutes. Add salsa and lime juice and simmer an additinal 10 minutes.

can add tortilla stripes and cheese.
