Ingredients

  • 1/2

    cup soy sauce

  • 1/3

    cup dry sherry

  • 1/2

    cup firmly packed brown sugar

  • 1/4

    cup cider vinegar

  • 2

    tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1

    minced garlic clove

  • 1/2

    teaspoon ground ginger

  • 3

    pounds chicken (legs, breasts, or thighs)

Directions

Combine all ingredients in large bowl (except chicken). Stir to dissolve the brown sugar. Add chicken and turn to coat with marinade. Refrigerate 3 hours to overnight. Grill chicken until 160-165 degrees. Rest 10 minutes, and serve.
