  • 2 1/4 tsp. yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (105-115)(8.3)
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbl. vegetable or olive oil (.8)
  • 2 1/2 Cups white, bread or whole wheat flour (12,5)

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in warm water in glass pyrex dish. Add sugar. Stir together other dry ingredients in separate bowl. Add oil to yeast/sugar mixture and stir into the dry ingredients. Let rest for 5 minutes. Turn onto table and knead for one minute. Let rest for 5 minutes. Stretch onto pan. Top with toppings.
Bake 425 degrees for 20 minutes on medium rack until toppings have browned.

Alternate. Bake empty crust. Add toppings and remove from pan to bake on oven rack.
