Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla sugar
- 1 cup grated lemon peel
- 1 egg yolk
- 8 Tbsp. butter
- Filling:
- 8 5 oz. (48 oz.) packages I
- 2 (1 1/2) tsp. vanilla sugar
- 1 3/4 (1 1/2) cup sugar
- 6 (5) eggs
- 3 (2) Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 3 (2) tsp. grated lemon pe,

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare dough by combining flour, sugar and lemon peel in bowl. Make well in cent, and butter. With finger tips, mix together until dough comes away from side of bow paper and refrigerate for 1 hour. To make bottom crust, place half the dough on flour Place on base of pan and trim to fit. Bake in pre heated oven as follows:
Electric oven: 4000 F
Gas oven: marks 6
Baking time: 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and place on rack to cool. When cool, roll remaining dough into so pressing ends to seal. Raise temperature of oven to 4500 F (Gas: Marks 8). Beat peel and vanilla sugar. When mixed well, slowly add cream. Pour mixture into pan for 15 minutes. Reduce to 2500 F (Gas: marks 1/2) and bake for 1 hour.
