Hamburger Stroganoff

Jack really liked this dinner and called it "a keeper!" I actually use just one half pound of ground beef and made the recipe as is. Perfect for two people.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger (ground beef)
- 1 clove garlic or
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can sliced mushrooms (optional)

Step 1
Cook and stir ground beef, onion and garlic until meat is brown. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, water, mushrooms, and salt. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Mix in sour cream. Heat. Serve over egg noodles.
