Ingredients

  • 5 *5 eggs*
  • 1/2 *1/2 cup sugar*
  • 1/2 *1/2 teaspoon salt*
  • 3/4 *3/4 cup flour*
  • 1 *1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk*
  • 1 *1 teaspoon vanilla*
  • 1 *1 bag (16 ounces) frozen, pitted dark sweet cherries, thawed
  • *Sweetened whipped cream or cherry vanilla ice cream (Optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Grease inside of slow cooker.

2. Beat eggs, sugar and salt in large bowl of electic mixer at high speed until thick. Add flour; stir until smooth. Stir in evaporated milk and vanilla.

3. Pour batter into prepared slow cooker. Place cherries evenly over batter. Cover; cook on LOW 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until flan is set. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
