Ingredients

  • 1 # red potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 8 ozs. baby carrots
  • 1 8 oz pkg presliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 onion, cut into 1" wedges through the core
  • 2 ribs celery, sliced
  • 3 # beef chuck roast
  • 1 14 oz can reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 1 10 oz. can mushroom gravy
  • 1 1.5 oz. packet slow cooker beef stew seasoning mix

Preparation

Step 1

1) In a 5 pt. slow cooker, combine potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onion and celery.
Place roast on top of vegetables

2) In a med. bowl, stir together beef broth, gravy, and beef stew seasoning mix.
Pour over roast.

3) Cover and cook on low head setting for 8-10 hours
