Ingredients

  • 4-6 oz portions Copper River King Salmon
  • 1/2 c brown sugar (can add more if desired)
  • 1/2 c low sodium organic San J Tamari soy sauce or coconut amino (or combination of the 2)
  • Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • Salt
  • Lemon
  • Extra Virgin Organic Olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Lay the portions of salmon on a baking sheet. Place foil and parchment paper under the salmon to aid in clean up. Sprinkle the brown sugar over each fillet, coating well, then drizzle with the soy sauce. Refrigerate and marinate at least 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Remove the salmon from the refrigerator and baste with the liquid, then season the salmon lightly with lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and a squeeze of lemon juice before placing in the oven. Bake until done, approximately 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and drizzle with olive oil. Serve with tropical pineapple fruit salsa.
