Taco Pie

This recipe was given to me by my mom in October of 1990 - I was 20 years old and her comment on this recipe card was, "Very tasty!"

Ingredients
- 1 9" pie crust, baked
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 8 oz. taco sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 16 oz. can of refried beans
- small can of sliced black olives
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 tortilla chips, crushed
- shredded lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- sour cream

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook ground beef and onion until ground beef is browned. Drain. Add taco seasoning and mix, following directions on the package.
In a separate bowl, combine beans and 1/3 cup taco sauce. Mix thoroughly.
Layer half of bean mixture in pie crust, top with half of meat mixture, sprinkle 1 cup of cheese and half of chips. Repeat layers.
Bake 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven, add lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and sour cream.
