Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 20 oz. fresh strawberries or unsweetened frozen strawberries, thawed, undrained
- 3 cupss flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Step 1
Beat oil and eggs until fluffy. Add strawberries and mix well. Combine flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and sugar and add to egg mixture, stirring until well blended. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour batter into 2 greased and lightly floured 9x5 inch loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Blend together cream cheese and strawberry jam and spread between two pieces of this bread to make delightful tea sandwiches.
