Ingredients
- Custard:
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup 1/2 and 1/2cream
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Sandwich:
- 950 ml raspberry jam
- 1 1/4 cups Dijon

Step 1
Whisk custard ingredients in a shallow dish until combined.
Stir the jam and Dijon together in a small bowl. Spread jam mixture on one side of each slice of bread. Layer the slices of cheese, ham and turkey on 6 slices of bread. Repeat with a second layer of cheese, ham and turkey. Add a final layer of cheese and top with the remaining bread. Lightly press down on sandwiches.
Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture. Grill on both sides until golden brown. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with remaining jam mixture.
