- 3 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 (10-oz.) package frozen asparagus, thawed (or equivalent fresh and cooked)
- 3/4 cup half and half
- Dash of white pepper, or to taste
- Dash of nutmeg
- Salt, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
In a blender or food processor, combine broth and asparagus; process until smooth. Pour into a medium bowl or container. Add half and half, white pepper and nutmeg; stir to combine. Add salt to taste. Refrigerate until serving time.
