Cranberry Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 8 tablespoons butter (1 stick)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4-5 pounds sweet potatoes, washed, peeled and cut into 1-inch piece
- 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries

Preparation
Step 1
In crock, mix all ingredients except potatoes. Cover and cook on high while preparing potatoes.
Stir potatoes into warm mixture, cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH 3-4 hours. Once potatoes are soft, stir to mashed consistency.
Tip: Replace potatoes with canned sweet potatoes (drained). Reduce cooking temperature to low.
Serves: 6-8
