- 1 pkg yeast
- 3 TBSP sugar
- 1 TBSP salt
- 2 cups water lujewarm
- 6 cups flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup beer

Dissolve yeast sugar and salt in warm water sift in half flour stir in eggs and beer stir in remaining flour Let rise Divide dough into half and form into round loves cut an x in the top of each loaf grease a cookie sheet and sprinkle with cornmeal space loaves apart Place a large roasting pan of boiling water on lower shelf of cold oven place laoves on shelf above water bake 30 to 45 mins at 400 to brown bottom turn over before last 5 mins
