Ingredients

  • 14 oz. of ketchup and bbq sauce
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 3 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon mustar
  • 1 tbsp. fresh minced garlic ( or to taste)
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper or to taste
  • 2 dashes hot pepper sauce or cayenne pepper
  • 4 lbs. meaty beef ribs

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except ribs in a medium bowl.

Place the ribs in a large bowl and coat with sauce.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or as long as 48 hours, turning the ribs every so often.

Preheat oven to 325˚F.

Drain the ribs (reserving the sauce), and place in a large roasting pan, bone-side down.

Brush with sauce and bake for 30 minutes

Remove from oven, turn ribs over and brush with reserve sauce and bake for 30 minutes.

Turn one more time, brush with the remaining sauce, and bake 45 minutes, basting every so often.

SAUCE MAY BE DOUBLED IF DESIRED***YES.
