Ingredients

  • 12 flour tortillas
  • 2 cups cherry or apple pie filling
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • ground cinnamon
  • sugar
  • chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Place tortillas on a work surface and spread pie filling evenly down the center. Roll up each tortilla and place in a single layer in a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking dish.

Combine sugar, water and butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring mixture to a boil. Pour over filled tortillas and let stand for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and nuts. Bake for 1 hour. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
