BAKED BEANS WITH HAMBURGER

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 3/4 (14-ounce) bottle ketchup
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
- 3 (1-pound) cans of pork and beans
- 6 to 8 strips of bacon

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Crumble the beef into a skillet;cook,
stirring until browned. Add onion and bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add sugar, mustard, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Add pork and beans;mix well. Pour into a large greased baking dish;cover with bacon strips. Bake for 1 hour.
** I rinse out the beans and drain from the cans before putting into the mix; I use a strainer. You can add habaneros or chili pepper if you like it spicy or omit it if not.
