Ingredients
- 2 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sugar
- ¾ cup cold water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips

Step 1
In a microwave, melt chocolate; cool for 10 minutes. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat egg and sugar. Beat in water and oil. Stir in melted chocolate and dry ingredients; mix until blended.
Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 32 – 38 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
