Ingredients

1 pint strawberries, washed and hulled
3/4 cup broken meringue pieces
1/2 cup whipped cream
juice of 1/2 lemon
1-3 tbsp. sugar (optional)
2 drops vanilla
white or dark chocolate curls
toasted slivered almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Puree several strawberries with lemon juice, vanilla and sugar. Mix sauce, strawberries, meringue and whipped cream, folding together. Serve topped with chocolate curls and garnished with almonds.
