Ingredients
- Pecans:
- • ½ cup pecans
- • 2 tbsp. sugar
- • Pinch of cinnamon
- • Pinch of ground cloves
- • Pinch of cayenne pepper
- • Generous pinch of sea salt
- • Splash water
- Salad:
- • 1 bosc pear
- • 1 small head bibb lettuce
- • 1 small head radicchio
- • Carmelized pecans
- • Extra-virgin olive oil
- • White wine vinegar

Preparation
Step 1
Caramelized Pecans:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line a small cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Mix everything but the pecans in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until combined and become liquidy. Add pecans, stir for 1-2 minutes until well coated. Spread out on cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes (tossing once or twice), until golden. Cool completely before sprinkling over the salad.
Salad:
Toss the greens together. Chop up pear in small pieces and add to salad. Add the olive oil and vinegar and pecans and toss together. Chill for a few minutes.
