Ingredients
- 5 medium garlic cloves
- 2 cups fresh basil
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Drop garlic, Parmesan cheese & basil into food processor. On/Off until coarsely chopped. Add Pine nuts. On/Off until chopped and mixed. Slowly add olive oil making sure sauce does not become puree. Pulse only until blended. Leave in processor
When pasta is cooked take 1/4 cup pasta water and add to pesto. Pulse to blend (or add boiling water)
Store leftover pesto in covered jar topping off with olive oil to seal.
