Ingredients
- Dipping sauce:
- Crusty rolls or baguettes for 4 to 6 people
- Roast pork from deli counter for 4 to 6 sandwiches
- Butter and mustard for spreading on bread
- 1 rounded T. finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1 C. root beer
- 1/2 C. ketchup
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Hot sauce to taste (optional

Preparation
Step 1
1. Make sandwiches as usual to serve 4 to 6.
2. To make sauce, in a small saucepan, cook onion in oil until softened. Mix in remaining ingredients. Reduce to thicken slightly. Keep warm in thermos. Makes about 1 cup.
