- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 (3 oz) packages cream cheese
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 6-1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 2-3 teaspoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
In a small saucepan, heat and stir 1/2 cup of butter over low heat until melted.
Continue heating until butte turns a nut-brown color.
Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, cream two 3 oz. packages of softened cream cheese.
Beat in about 2 cups sifted powdered sugar.
Beat in the browned butter and vanilla.
Gradually beat in remaining 4-1/2 cups of sifted powdered sugar and 2-3 teaspoons milk, until frosting is creamy and spreadable.
