GLAZED MEAT LOAF

This meat loaf is just as tasty when made with ground turkey as when made with ground beef. The glaze makes this meat loaf special!

Ingredients
- Meatloaf:
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 slices bread, torn or 1 cup Pepperidge Farm stuffing
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 lbs. ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2/3 cup shredded carrots
- 2/3 cup diced onion
- Glaze:
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard

Preparation
Step 1
Combine eggs, bread, milk, salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl, mixing well. Add ground meat, cheese, carrot & onion. Mix well. Shape mixture into a loaf and place on a lightly greased rack in a broiler pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes. Combine glaze ingredients and spoon over loaf. Bake an additional 20-25 minutes until done.
