Summa Borscht

Ingredients

• 1 coil of Mennonite farmer sausage
• 1 large onion
• fresh dill
• 12 medium potatoes
• 1 small container of sour cream
• 1/2 litre buttermilk
• 1/4 litre whipping cream
• Green onions

Preparation

Step 1

Cut sausage into bit sized pieces, barely cover with water
-add 1 large onion
-add fresh dill
Boil for 15 minutes

Peel and cube 12 med potatoes and cover in water
-Pour potatoes and water into sausage
-Add 2 bunches of green onions
Boil until potatoes are barely soft

Add 1 small container of sour cream, 1/2 litre of buttermilk, and 1/4 litre of whipping cream
-Add sour cream and milk first
-Salt and pepper to taste
