  • 1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 3 tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 pkg. cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 pkg. white chocolate (=8 squares)
  • 1 pkg. chocolate (=4 squares)

Step 1

Mix crumbs and butter, press onto bottom of springform pan. Blend cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Place 1/2 of batter in another bowl. Stir 3 squares melted white chocolate into this bowl. Stir 3 squares melted chocolate into remainder. Spread white, then dark batter into pan. Bake at 425 degree F oven for 10 mins. Reduce to 250 degrees for 30-35 mins. Run knife around edge. Cool. Melt 5 squares white chocolate with 3 tbsp. each icing sugar and shortening over low heat; stir until smooth. Cool 5 mins.; pour over cheesecake. Spread over tops and sides. Drizzle with 11 square melted chocolate. Swirl with knife to create marbled effect.
