Ingredients

  • 2

    cups milk

  • cup heavy cream

  • 4

    cups freshly brewed, strong Louisiana coffee with chicory (see note)

Directions

1. In a medium-size saucepan, combine milk and cream. Heat just until bubbles appear around the edge of the pan. (Do not boil.) Pour milk mixture into a warmed serving pot or pitcher. 2. Pour about 1 inch of freshly brewed coffee into each off our cups. Then, simultaneously pour coffee and warm milk into each cup to desired level. Note: To make strong coffee, use 2 tablespoons ground Louisiana coffee with chicory for every 6-ounce cup of coffee.
