Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c all purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 c granulated sugar
- 1/2 c low fat buttermilk
- 1/2 c molasses
- 1/3 c butter, melted
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- cooking spray
- 1 tbs powdered sugar

Preparation
Step 1
1) preheat oven to 350.
2) lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. combine flour, ginger, cinnamon, and baking soda, stirring with a whisk.
3) combine granulated sugar and next 4 ingredients (granulated sugar, through egg) in a large bowl, stirring with a whisk. stir in flour mixture. pour batter into a 9 inch square baking pan coated with cooking spray.
4) bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. cool in pan on a wire rack. sprinkle gingerbread with powdered sugar.
