Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- ¾ c. oats
- a dry onion soup mix envelope and
- 1-1/2 c. water.
- 1 egg
- ½ c. milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 t. pepper
- opt: ½ tsp. tarragon
- Serve over rice (can add 1/2 c. dry wine 5 min. before serving. and/or sprinkle with parmesan cheese)
- (Note: When I made the meatballs to put in spaghetti sauce, I used part hot pork sausage and baked them in the oven to brown them.)

Step 1
Blend.ground beef, oats, soup mix, water, milk, salt, pepper, and egg. Shape into balls. Roll in flour and brown. Simmer for 1 hour. Serve over rice. Can add ½ c. dry wine 5 min. before serving and/or sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
