Ingredients
- 1-1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, not packed
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour, unsifted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pound candied red cherries, cut*
- 1/2 pound candied pineapple, cut*
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
- I use a candied cherry/pineapple mix

Step 1
Cream margarine and brown sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Mix in flour, then vanilla and cinnamon. Stir in cherries, pineapple and pecans.
Pour into a well greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Bake in a 300F oven about one (1) hour. Check several times the last 15 minutes to prevent over cooking. Cook completely before cutting into squares. Store in a tightly covered container.
