Ingredients
- 2 (1 pound) packages frozen squash, thawed or 3 cups mashed cooked squash (if available)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple in juice, drained
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup salted peanuts, chopped
- 4 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Nutmeg, to taste
- 2 tbsp butter, optional

Step 1
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and spoon into a 1 1/2-quart casserole that has been sprayed with nonstick vegetable spray. Dot with 2 tbsp butter, optional. Cover and bake at 400 F for 35 minutes. Serve hot.
