Tunnel Barbeque Sauce

Tunnel Bar-B-Q in Windsor, Ontario right near the Detroit-Windsor Boarder Tunnel has been around for over 50 years. People rave about their secret TBQ sauce. No one knows the real recipe, but this copycat recipe is a homage to its taste and flavor. It is awesome on ribs and chicken.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 1/2 cup prepared mustard
• 1/2 cup vinegar white
• 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1 1/2 teaspoon chile powder
• 1/4 cup white sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all of the ingredients together over medium heat until well blended. Let cool pour into a storage container and allow the vinegar to react with the sugar for a couple of days before using.
