Ingredients
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 large onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 bunch fresh parsley
- 1 'slack celery
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 pounds hot sausage (kielbasa)
- cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 .bay leaf
- 2 pounds new potatoes,
- halved
- 8 to 10 .ems com, cut into 2- to 3-incb
- chunks .
- ~ 4 pounds shrimp, in the shell

Preparation
Step 1
Coarsely chop the pepper, onion,
garlic, parsley and celery, then slowly
cook in the oil in a large frying pan with
the sausage and seasonings until the
vegetables are soft. In a large stew pot,
cover the potatoes with water and boil'
until cooked but still firm.
Just before serving, combine the
sausage .and vegetable mixture with the
I potatoes and water, add the corn and
I shrimp. Simmer slowly until shrimp
turn pink· Serve with homemade com
bread and salad.
