Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 2-3 sprigs fresh dill (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon-style mustard
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp thinly sliced green onions
  • 1 small head broccoli
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 3 ribs celery
  • 1/2 lb button mushrooms
  • 1/2 (8oz) package flatbread

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place bacon on several layers of paper towels; cover with 1 layer. Microwave on HIGH until crisp, about 2-3 minutes. Crumble and set aside. Finely chop dill to yield 1 tbsp.

2. In medium bowl, thoroughly blend mayonnaise, mustard and black pepper. Stir in cheese, bacon, green onions and dill.

3. Turn into small, shallow baking dish and bake, stirring once, until melted and bubbling, 20-25 minutes.

4. Cut crowns from broccoli. Arrange on serving plat¬ter. Cut red pepper into strips; arrange on platter. Trim both ends from celery and discard. Cut remainder into sticks. Arrange on platter with mushrooms and flat-bread. Serve with dip.
