- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup of cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- freshly ground pepper

Step 1
1. Cut the cabbage into quarters and cut out the cores. Cut the cabbage into small pieces to suit your taste.
2. For the dressing: In a pot, whisk together the egg, sugar, mustard, flour, cider vinegar, water and salt.
3. Bring to a boil ove3r medium-high heat.. When mixture boils, add butter.
4. When melted, pour over prepared sliced cabbage. Season well with freshly ground pepper.
