Plain Kulcha

Plain kulcha is a north Indian or typical Punjabi recipe.It goes great with any Indian style gravy.

Ingredients
- 2 cup fine flour(maida)
- 1 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tsp oil
- Salt to taste

Step 1
1. Combine salt, maida, baking powder, baking soda & sieve together also
add coriander leaves & oil.
2. Knead into soft dough, using enough water.
3. Cover with a wet muslin cloth & keep aside for 5-6 hours.
4. Knead dough again & divide dough into equal portions.
5. Roll out each portion into a thick circle.
6. Heat a pan/tawa, cook each kulcha by applying a little butter till
golden brown spots appear on both sides.
7. Serve hot with butter.
