Home-Made Ice Cream

Ingredients

• 5 eggs
• 2 1/4 c. sugar
• 4 tsp. vanilla
• 2 pts. cream
• 2 pts. half & half
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/2 c. whole milk

Preparation

Step 1

With an electric mixer, beat well eggs & sugar. Add vanilla, cream, half & half, & salt. Mix well & add whole milk.
Put in ice cream maker & turn until it feels really firm. When it’s turns hard, it’s ready.

Try adding some cinnamon or other flavorings. Cinnamon flavor on warm apple pie or rhubarb pie is delicious!
