  • 1-2 jars of pasta sauce (depending on how saucy you like it)
  • 1 box jumbo pasta shells (you don’t have to use the whole box)
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 pkg ground beef
  • 3 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs



Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Cook shells in salted water as directed on box. Drain in cold water to prevent shells to further cook.
Sauté onions and garlic with butter. Add ground beef and cook thoroughly. Remove from heat and stir in bread crumbs. Allow mixture to cool some. Then add egg and parmesan. Salt and pepper to taste.
Take about 2 tbsp filling into each shell and don't over fill them. Pour 1 cup sauce in bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish to prevent shells to stick to bottom of dish while baking. Then spoon remaining sauce over shells. Sprinkle with parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 30 min.
