Ingredients
- garlic to taste
- 1 Tbsp cannola oil
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1 pound(s) uncooked lean and trimmed beef flank steak
- 1/2 cup(s) water
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. grated, peeled fresh ginger
- triple sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices. Combine steak and cornstarch in a medium bowl; toss until coated and set aside.
Combine water, brown sugar and soy sauce in a small bowl and set aside.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté 1 minute. Add steak; cook 3 minutes or until browned, stirring occasionally. Add brown sugar mixture and cook 4 minutes or until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with green onions.
Also can be done in slow cooker.
