Ingredients
- Crumble:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- Filling:
- 6 apples
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla

Step 1
Place crumble ingredients in a bowl and stir with fork until mixture is completely combined and in crumbles.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Peel apples and cut in half. Remove cores and cut apples into 1/4 in wedges, Place sugar, cornstarch, salt, water and vanilla in a lrg bowl and stir until combined. Add apples and toss until coated. Place apple mixture in ungreased 13×9 pan. Sprinkle crumble mixture over apples and bake for 40-45 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
