Ingredients

  • 1 lb. linguine
  • 3/4 lb bacon , chopped
  • 2 lg onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 lg egg yolks
  • parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook linguine until aldente, reserving 1 1/2cup cooking liquid

Fry bacon until crisp. Discard all but 3 Tbsp. bacon fat.

Add onion and cook until soft.

Add pasta water

Bring to boil and stir in linguine.

Remove fromheat and add egg yolks on at a time

Add bacon, serason with pepper and sprinkle with parmesan cheese
