  • 3 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp flavor oil
  • food coloring
  • powdered sugar

Step 1

Heat sugar, syrup and water to "hard crack" on candy thermometer (350 degrees). Remove from heat and add flavor oil and food coloring. Immediately four onto cookie sheet covered with powdered sugar. Sift powdered sugar over the top of the candy. Break into small pieces and serve. Makes great Christmas candy and gifts.
