Ingredients
- 1 flank steak, approximately 1 - 1 1/2 lbs
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 piece fresh ginger, approximately 2" long
- 1/2 C. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 C. soy sauce (use low sodium, if desired

Preparation
Step 1
Cut steak into 3/4" thick strips across the grain. Place in a shallow glass bowl.
Mince garlic using a garlic press or the steel knife of a food processor. Peel ginger and shred with a grater or chop finely using the steel knife of a food processor.
Combine brown sugar and soy sauce. Add garlic and ginger. Pour over meat. Cover and refrigerate.
Remove meat from marinade, Preheat STOVE TOP GRILL. Brush grill lightly with oil. Cook meat over high heat, turning once approximately 3 to 5 minutes on each side. Do not overcook, meat should be served rare to medium rare or it may become tough.
