Ingredients

  • 2 cups Warm Water
  • 2 pkg Dry Yeast
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 Eggs ( Mixed together)
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegatable oil
  • 6 1/2 to 7 + Cups flour
  • 2 Cans Poppyseed filling

Preparation

Step 1

Get warm water & disolve yeast as directed on package. Mix together yeast , 2 cups warm water and eggs. Add dry ingredients.Keep adding flour until dough needs kneading. Place in Greased bowl pour a small amount of oil over dough and place in bowl big enough to allow it to double. Cover and set in warm place for 1 hour.
Divid dough in half and roll out half to about 1/4 t 1/2 half in thickness. Butter dough lightly. Spread 1can of poppyseed filling on each rolled dough. Roll up and place on jelly roll pan. ( may place both rolls on same pan.
Bake in over at 350 for about 33 minutes or until golden brown.
