Preparation
Step 1
Start by adding your ground beef, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic and eggs to a large bowl.
Using your hands, squish together all the ingredients, making sure that they are well combined. Then pull of chunks and roll them in your hand to form the meatballs. These can be as large or small as you want but remember to adjust your cooking time based on the size of your meatballs.
Pour half of your jar of spaghetti sauce into your slow cooker to cover the bottom. The place your meatballs evenly on top so that they are in a single layer.
Then pour the remainder of your spaghetti sauce over the top. Put the top on your slow cooker and cook on high for 1 hour, them change to low setting for an additional 4 hours. Check your meatballs to ensure the center is not pink and they are ready to serve!
When you are ready to serve them, cut open your hoagie roll and add 3 to 4 meatballs to each roll. The top your meatball sub with freshly shredded provolone cheese.
