Dolly's New York Chicken Barbeque
An oil and vinegar marinade used often in central New York.
- 2 cups vinegar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning
- 6 to 8 chicken pieces
Put all ingredients (accept chicken) into a bowl or blender and wisk or blend until smooth.
Place chicken in an airtight container. Pour mixture over chicken and marinate for at least 2 to 4 hours (I like to marinate overnight in the refrigerator). Remove chicken from marinade and cook over grill, basting the chicken while cooking until done.
