Red Velvet Cake Original Frosting

Red Velvet Cake Original Frosting;
This is much more trouble than Cream Cheese Frosting, but is very good.

Ingredients

• 3 Tbsp flour
• 1 c. milk
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 c. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Cook flour and milk until very thick, stirring constantly. Takes forever. Chill thoroughly. Cream sugar, vanilla and butter until fluffy. Blend in four mixture. Beat until of spreading consistency. Frost cake. Store covered, in refrigerator.
