Ronzoni Garden Delight Salad with Sesame 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (12 oz.) Ronzoni Garden Delight® Rotini, Radiatore or Penne, uncooked
  • Asian Dressing (recipe follows)
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion (tops only)
  • 1 can (8 oz.) bamboo shoots, drained
  • 1 large carrot, shredded
  • 1/2 large sweet red pepper, cut into short thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed*
  • To toast sesame seed: Heat oven to 350°F. Spread seed in shallow baking pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Rinse with cold water to cool quickly; drain well. Meanwhile, prepare Asian Dressing. In small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1/4 cup rice or white wine vinegar, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger and 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic.
In large bowl, toss cooled pasta, dressing and remaining ingredients. Cover; refrigerate.

Serves: 6-8
